Admission Guidelines

The academic session starts in the month of April every year and continues till March of the following year.

Pre-Primary School (Pre Nursery – Kindergarten):Admission opens in the month of November and most of the seats are taken by March for the new session. It’s always recommended to pre-book your seat as the school strength is restricted to three sections per class with only thirty students per section. The focus remains on the ideal student teacher ratio and maintaining high standards in education.

Junior/Senior School (Grade 1 – Grade 11): The Little Shri School being the only CBSE school in the heart of the city with classes up to Class XII and with state of the art facilities, is high in demand among the city parents hence, the admission in these grades is subject to the availability of seats only. Students in all classes are admitted on the basis of the merit list and eligibility.

 

Age Criteria

Pre-Nursery: Minimum age should be 2 years 6 months as on 31st March of the year of admission

Nursery: Minimum age should be 3 years 6 months as on 31st March of the year of admission.

KG: Minimum age should be 4 years 6 months as on 31st March of the year of admission.

Grade 1: Minimum age should be 5 years 6 months as on 31st March of the year of admission.

Admission Process


The Admission process involves the following steps:

  1. Filling up of Parent Information form.
  2. Interaction with the admission counselor followed by a campus tour.
  3. Eligibility test for senior classes.
  4. Interaction with the school Principal/Director.
    • Submission of the Application Form with the following documents:
    • For Elementary School (Pre-Nursery to Grade 1)
      • Copy of Birth Certificate
      • Proof of Residence.
      • Aadhaar Card
      • Photo of Child and Parents
    • For Junior/SeniorSchool (Grade 1 to Grade 11):
      • Copy of Birth Certificate
      • Proof of Residence
      • Aadhaar Card
      • Report Card and a Transfer Certificate from the previous school.
      • Photo of Child and Parents

A student’s application will pass through different stages facilitated by effective communication, between parents and the admission team.
