“My Mom Is My Hero”: How TLS Rohtak Celebrated Mother's Day
Elocution, essays and a senior tribute — TLS Rohtak's students on the original real-life superhero.

Every child has a first hero, and for most of them, it's their mother. TLS Rohtak built its Mother's Day celebration entirely around that idea, under the theme “My Mom Is My Hero.”
Students of Classes 2 and 3 took the theme into an Elocution Competition, sharing their thoughts and feelings with real confidence, while Classes 4 and 5 poured theirs into an Essay Writing Competition — each entry a small, sincere tribute to the strength and unconditional care their mothers show every day.
“Mom, you are my hero.”
Senior students added their own layer to the day with a presentation on “Who Is Your Real-Life Superhero?” — a thoughtful reminder that while fictional superheroes exist in stories, most children's real one is already at home. Their words acknowledged mothers as first teachers, steady sources of courage, and the quiet force behind nearly every milestone their children reach.
It was a day full of gratitude, expressed in the most genuine way children know how: through their own words. Heartfelt thanks to every student who took part in making the celebration so memorable.
