Poetry Day at TLS Rohtak: Words, Rhythm and Confidence on Stage
From winter wonders to festival celebrations — our youngest storytellers took the mic.

Poetry Day exists for a simple reason: to give students a reason to appreciate and express themselves through poetry, not just study it for an exam. Through reading and recitation, students build language skills, confidence, and a genuine appreciation for literature they'll carry well past the assignment that prompted it.
Our youngest storytellers brought their poems to life with real imagination, rhythm, and creativity. From winter wonders to festival celebrations to transport adventures, the range of topics was wide — but every poem, whatever the subject, reflected the same thing: confidence and joy in performing it out loud.
Poetry Day at TLS Rohtak isn't really about producing polished poets. It's about giving every child a stage, a microphone, and permission to make something up — and watching what they do with it.
